Today while sitting and waiting for my dreams to be realized, I noticed one little crazy thing. I have just been waiting, and waiting and waiting.. Notice I didn’t say doing. I have waited for so long while praying and hoping and believing for my dreams to be realized that I forgot to do more. I have allowed my biggest obstacle to hold me back from the act of doing. I have a feeling you’ve been there as well. You pray for something to happen great in your life and you sit and wait for it to manifest over time. The problem with this becomes the action part (faith without works)….. Sometimes your environment (your surroundings) can get in you and drag you back down to a level of mediocrity. A level which you know you were never meant for. A level you know all Mighty God did not mean for you to be. I admit, it makes it harder for me to fulfill my dreams on a level that God has planned for me. I am sure you have been through this as well. My goal is to pull away from mediocrity and to allow God to bless me. My surroundings may be negative, but my heart and mind are and should be a sacred place for positive reformation. For so long my surroundings have told me what I am not. But I am here to tell them what I am and who I am. And what I am is a Child of God. A beautiful, bright and brilliant Child of God.
I ask you to take up this challenge with me. Everyday you wake, find something positive about your life. I get it. Some may see that even waking up in the morning is a challenge. Oh boy do I get that. However, my challenge is for you to fight. Yes fight for your mind…. fight for your heart…fight for your life. Despite what others say and believe you are, I need you to believe that you are special. You are a gift from God. You my beautiful family are a child of the most HIGH. Don’t allow anyone or anything to take that away from you. Fight! Fight! Fight. Now help me say Yeah!!!!
