Recently, my sister lost her mother and we cried together over this loss. One day her mom was up and walking around and a few days later….nothing.. In the blink of an eye she was really gone. My sister is in the first days of grief and all I can do is listen. I know exactly what is coming. My heart aches for her, my nerves are rattled for her, and my nights are restless because of her loss. Why, because I know what is coming, I know all too well how this will go. It all comes at you once the person is no longer on this earth. Whether cremated or buried…the next step of this grief stage will be a rollercoaster ride.
Yet, all I can do is listen… and pray for God to send her supernatural peace. A peace beyond mans understanding. By the grace of God this could’ve have been my beautiful mom. A couple of months ago, I thought this would be my mom’s story. Again, by grace, God brought my mom back to us. My mom said “I believe God took me for a while”.. Jesus this broke me! The strange thing is, I believe her. Of course I cried and still cry today just thinking about this. However, today I celebrating that God gave her back.
Celebrate your mom while she is still alive. If there is discourse among you, find a peaceful resolution. Please don’t let your mom leave this earth without finding some sort of peace.
Until next time my friends….
I love you
